Fabric Canopy was one of the best roofing solutions for their requirement to create Canteen - Food Court - Assembly area below the Fabric Canopy in Amritsar, Punjab.

The area of Tensile Structure in Amritsar, Punjab was around 15448 Sq.ft.

Design / Analysis

In Amritsar, India, the Canopy for Atrium at Business Park will not work due to large deflections observed both in the supporting cable as well as in the Tensile Fabric Structure. So after all the analysis we decided Vault design form for Tensile fabric roof.

Primary Structure

After completing all the detailing, drafting for the Tensile Fabric Roof Shed the Tensile Structure Fabricators - team Aakruti Tenso has started erection of Tensile Fabric Structure at site with all safety measurements

Fabric Details

Fabric of German make Mehler was used for the Atrium at Amritsar, Punjab as suggested by the company only. The fabric was cut and patterned parallel.

Installation

Moderate height and access from all 4 sides made initial fabric lifting laying operations easier. The fabric touching arc beams needs puncturing to allow twin ropes lifting the beams upwards.
